Meet Your Teacher

Jess Arnaudin is a licensed skin therapist and author of Plant-Based Beauty. Her plant-centered skincare philosophy will take you back to the basics to streamline your product lineup and transform your skincare routine into a cherished ritual.

For nearly a decade as a licensed skin therapist, I’ve listened to hundreds of women share their skincare struggles and frustrations.

​

My own experience with deep, painful hormonal acne taught me firsthand how skin impacts our confidence and how we show up in the world. 

​

And through seeing all types of skin conditions, from acne, to hyperpigmentation, rosacea to contact dermatitis, I’ve decoded some simple principles that apply to and empower all women regardless of your skin goals. 

 

There is no magic potion or fail-proof formula, but I believe healthy skin is for all of us. It's my mission to help other women understand their skin and how to care for it.

 

These are not "buzz-worthy" beauty trends that are here today and gone tomorrow. These principles will bring more understanding, presence and joy to the simple, sacred act of lovingly caring for the skin you're uniquely in.

Week 1: Skincare is Selfcare

You'll learn the three elements that will transform your routine into ritual and the science behind why carving out time for beauty rituals daily is so vitally important to emotional and skin health. 

Week 2: Declutter Your Beauty Bag

You'll learn how to make space for the new, how to figure out which products are no longer serving you, and how to create a beauty lineup that is simple and vibrant — and a joy to apply! You'll know how to shop skincare, what to look for on labels and how to curate products you absolutely love from brands that you trust. 

Week 3: Know Thy Skin

We'll take a fascinating dive into the physiology of your skin. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the layers of the epidermis and how skin functions. The simple science of your sophisticated skin will equip you to make better decisions rooted in education, not marketing hype.

Week 4: Create Your Dream Skincare Ritual, Cleansing and Exfoliation

No matter your budget or skin type, these are the building blocks of any great skincare ritual. Learn the tips and techniques for oil cleansing and exfoliation that I share with my clients. You'll also receive a video tutorial with step by step guidance on the oil cleansing technique that will benefit your skin for life.

Week 5: Create Your Dream Skincare Ritual, Moisture, Antioxidants, SPF

Learn how to properly use facial oil, why toning mists are essential (and how to spot the synthetic imposters on shelves), how to apply eye cream in a way that activates acupressure points, the importance of antioxidants in your skincare lineup and the difference between chemical and physical sunscreen and why it matters.
